Most states now require that you and your staff be certified or have documented proof that you are fully-knowledgeable about indoor tanning procedures. American Tanning Institute offers three ways to satisfy these requirements through our certification programs. You can choose our online program to start your training now, you can order our correspondence program and begin your training in about 10 days or you can attend one of our in-class courses offered across the country.
Specifically, our indoor tanning certification course covers:
-The requirements of State and FDA tanning regulations,
-Procedures for correct operation of the tanning facility and tanning equipment.
-Recognition of injury or overexposure to UV light,
-The tanning equipment manufacturer's procedures for operation and maintenance of the tanning equipment,
-The determination of skin type on consumers and appropriate determination of duration of exposure to registered tanning equipment,
-Emergency procedures to be used in case of injury, and more. |
