New Hampshire House Bill 729 was passed and now requires the NH Board of Barbering, Cosmetology, and Esthetics to regulate tanning facilities.
All NH operators of tanning equipment must now be certified through an approved in-class program; American Tanning Institute is an approved provider of NH tanning certification.

New In-House Certification Program For NH, MA and Southern ME Salons
With the recent addition of our satellite office in NH, our tanning certification course can be presented in-house at most locations within New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Southern Maine--a customized version of the program presented directly at your facility. This allows us to offer a certification class that meets your precise, unique needs while adhering to new state training requirements. Included in every 4-hour in-house program are a comprehensive training manual and a certification test for each participant.

David Hoyt M.S. - N. H. Tanning Course Instructor
Mr. Hoyt has a Master's Degree with Highest Honors in Holistic Nutrition. He obtained his Certified Personal Trainer certificate through American Fitness Professionals & Associates at Northeastern University, Boston Ma. He has also attended Endicott Business Leadership institute in Beverly MA.
With more than twenty-nine years experience in the health and fitness field including facilitator for Northern Essex Community College, Apple Tree Education, and Rise -N- Shine Wellness Center, David has worked as a Natural Health Practitioner with individuals, created workshops, and has been a Key note speaker for various entities throughout New England. The Department of Education and the Board of Nursing in the states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts recognize his educational workshops for in-service contact hours.
In addition to certifying countless tanning salon owners and operators throughout the New England states, Mr. Hoyt is currently working towards his Ph.D.; he is the Author of "Nutrition in a Nutshell", provides editorials for Personal Fitness Professional Magazine, and is an instructor for Timberline School District, and Sanborn Regional School District Adult Education programs.
