Our online certification program is designed to be convenient and easy to use. For one low fee, our program includes online access to our training manual, supporting documents and a final exam. The exam is designed to be taken open-book. With a passing score of 75% or better, you will be issued a certificate of completion from the American Tanning Institute. If you do not pass the first time, you may retake the test at no additional cost.Please Note:
Residents of North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana and Oregon must take a formal in-class course for certification. Those living in these states can contact your state regulatory office for a list of scheduled courses.
Get Started In Three Simple Steps!
1. Register-Register in our easy to follow, professionally designed shopping cart. Once you have purchased your course you will be emailed your Login and Password access to our online training manual and test within 48-hours .
2. Study-Once you access our training material online, your set to study at your own pace, 24-hours a day/7-days a week, from any computer using your emailed access information. It is recommended that you spend at least 4-hours studying the training material.
3. Pass-Once you've completed the registration and study period, you'r ready to take the open-book, 50-question certification exam. The exam is both multiple choice and true/false questions. If you do not pass the test the first time, you may retake the test at no additional charge. Once you have passed the exam with a score of 75% or better, temporary proof of certification will be emailed to you and a permanent certificate suitable for framing will be mailed to you.
